1. Introduction:

These Wardrobe Rental Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of wardrobe rental services provided by d’Everlasting Knot (“DEK,” “we,” or “us”). By renting a dress or wardrobe from DEK, you (personal details as filled in the e-form) agree to comply with these Terms.

2. Rental Agreement:

By placing an order and completing the payment process, you enter into a rental agreement with DEK for the specified wardrobe items and rental period.

3. Booking and Payment:

Booking: To reserve a wardrobe item, visit our website or contact our customer service. A reservation is considered confirmed upon receipt of payment.

Payment Process:

a. Payment to DEK: All payments for wardrobe rental services, including booking fees and any applicable charges, must be made directly to d’Everlasting Knot (DEK).

b. No Payment to Affiliates/Agents: Customers are expressly prohibited from making any payments related to wardrobe rentals directly to affiliates or any third party. Payments made to affiliates will not be considered valid and may result in the cancellation of the rental agreement.

Consequences of Violation:

a. Cancellation of Booking: Any violation of the payment process outlined in Section 15 may result in the immediate cancellation of the booking, and the customer may be subject to additional penalties as specified in the Terms and Conditions.

b. No Refund for Payments to Affiliates: Payments made to affiliates in violation of this clause are non-refundable, and DEK will not be responsible for any financial losses incurred by the customer.

4. Rental Period:

The rental period begins on the specified start date and ends on the return date indicated during the booking process. Standard rental duration 3 to 5 days max.

Extensions: If you wish to extend the rental period, contact DEK before the original return date to check availability and arrange payment for the additional rental days.

5. Wardrobe Condition:

DEK ensures that all wardrobe items are in good condition before rental.

Upon receiving the wardrobe, inspect it for any damages or discrepancies. Report any issues to DEK immediately.

6. Care and Cleaning:

Handle the wardrobe items with care to avoid damages.

Do not attempt to clean or alter the items. DEK will handle all necessary cleaning and maintenance.

7. Late Returns and Extensions:

Late Returns: A fee may be charged for late returns without prior notification.

Extensions: Notify DEK in advance if you need to extend the rental period. Failure to return items on time may affect future rental eligibility.

a. Late Return Fee: If the rented wardrobe items are not returned on or before the agreed return date without prior notification to DEK, a late return fee of RM 50.00 per day will be charged.

b. Deduction from Security Deposit: Late return charges will be deducted from the customer’s security deposit. If the late return charges exceed the security deposit, the customer agrees to promptly settle the remaining balance.

8. Damage or Loss:

Damage: Report any damages to DEK immediately. Depending on the extent of damage, additional charges may apply.

Lost or Unreturned Items: If a rented wardrobe item is lost, not returned, or returned in an unusable condition, the customer will be responsible for paying the full replacement cost of the item, as specified by DEK.

Damages Fee: In the event of damage to the rented wardrobe items beyond normal wear and tear, the customer will be charged an amount based on the extent of the

  • Hanger Damage or Loss: RM 20.00
  • Cover Bag Loss:  RM 80.00
  • Cover Bag Damage: RM 50.00
  • Bow / Tie / Gown Ribbon: RM 30.00
  • Gown/Coat Dirty Purpose Min
RM150 (Based on stain)
  • Gown/Coat Damage: Min RM 200 (Based on the damage)

9. Cancellation and Refund:

Cancellation: Cancellations made within a certain period may be eligible for a partial refund. Refer to DEK’s cancellation policy for details.

Refund: No refunds will be issued for cancellations made after the specified period.

10. Size and Fit:

Ensure accurate measurements before placing an order.

Refunds or replacements will not be granted for size-related issues.

11. Shipping and Returns:

Shipping: DEK is responsible for shipping wardrobe items to the specified address before the rental period.

Returns: Items must be shipped back to DEK on or before the agreed return date using the provided return label.

12. Governing Law:

These Wardrobe Rental Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of [Jurisdiction].

14. Dispute Resolution:

If any dispute arises concerning penalties or charges, both parties agree to attempt to resolve the matter amicably. If a resolution cannot be reached, the dispute will be resolved in accordance with the dispute resolution provisions outlined in Section 12 (Governing Law) of these Wardrobe Rental Terms and Conditions.
